To get to the Drisnak Desert, you must leave South from Cormallen and head south until you're on the blighted hill, then head east. Head south down the hunting trail and head southwest when the path splits. One west from the Fountain of Luck and you'll be at the start of the desert.

If you want to make it across the desert to the Isle of Pain or the Mage's Mess, you'll need to hire a guide. At the start of the desert, head two north and type
hire guide
The guide will give you his costs and will slowly follow you as you head into the desert. Move west and north and when he says you can make your way on your own, head south and west to the Isle of Pain.
Inside the Desert[]
When you get lost in the desert, you take damage every step you take until you randomly walk back to the entrance.
The desert rises ominously around you, and you look around
helplessly, hoping to find some path or some clue as to directy you out of this living hell. The wind bites at you with vicious tenacity, tearing at your flesh, finding every weakness in your armour through which to torment you. Even the sky gives no clue as the sun sits high in its path, offering no hint to what direction you might be traveling in.
The burning desert sun saps your strength
You can win a map by beating the Match-Match Player in the desert twice in a row.
